DATATAG HELP CONVICT FIVE CAREER CRIMINALS
After an 8 week trial five known criminals with a long history of previous offences were convicted of handling stolen goods and money laundering. Paul Granger, Patrick Jenkins, Charlie Granger, Raymond Dyer and Jack Granger were all found guilty after a case that was initiated by Datatag's Police Liaison and Training Officer Nick Mayell, back in December 2015. DATATAG SUPPORT GARDAI IN IDENTIFICATION OF RECOVERED POWER TOOLS
At a recent event hosted by the Gardai, Sergeant Peter Mc Connon, Crime Prevention Officer for County Carlow, had on display over 200 items of stolen and recovered power tools. The haul was the result of a successful police operation in the area and the 'identification parade' of tools was put on in the hope that members of the public could identify them. Read More
