Datatag ID, a leader in forensic marking technology, and delivery partner of the CEA's CESAR Security Scheme, will have a major presence at the LAMMA Show, the UK's leading agricultural machinery and technology event, on 17th and 18th January 2024 at the NEC, Birmingham.

There's also another significant announcement where a major motorcycle and ATV manufacturer is now fitting CESAR ATV as standard. 

This announcement is particularly significant in the wake of the Theft Prevention Bill, which received Royal Assent on 20 July and is now an Act of Parliament. The legislation is a vital response to the escalating issue of agricultural and ATV thefts, which has severely impacted rural communities. The NFU Rural Crime Report revealed a staggering £49.5 million loss to rural crime in 2021, a 22% increase, with farm tractors and ATVs accounting for a significant portion of these losses. 

Datatag's latest innovations, the RAPID check (Registered Assets Police Information Database) and the ‘Ultra Tag’ RFID transponder are set to further revolutionise the security of global construction and agricultural machinery. 

These technologies enable quick verification of machinery status through a secure database and extend the RFID transponder's read range, thereby enhancing police capabilities in combatting machinery theft.
