Datatag ID Limited, the leading security solutions provider for many industry-wide security schemes, has announced its participation at the world's largest trade fair for agricultural machinery and equipment AGRITECHNICA which will be held in Hannover, Germany, from November 12th.

The Datatag stand (E56) will display the Construction Equipment Association's CESAR Scheme, the largest scheme of its type in the world. CESAR protects over 250,000 items of equipment and has contributed to reducing plant theft, in the UK, by over 70% since its introduction in 2007. The award-winning scheme gives each piece of equipment a unique and permanent identity which thieves cannot remove including RFID Tags, forensic DNA, Datadots and tamper evident warning labels. CESAR, which uses Datatag state of state of the art identity technology, is fitted by many leading equipment manufacturers including John Deere, Massey Ferguson, McCormack, JCB and Manitou.

Datatag will also display the award winning MicroCESAR system which is designed to protect small tools and equipment, which are vulnerable to opportunistic theft. Since its launch MicroCESAR has been adopted by STIHL for their full range of cut-off saws.

AGRITECHNICA, which is held over seven days, will showcase 2,900 exhibitors in 23 halls. Exhibitors include suppliers of advanced technology for crop production, leading equipment manufacturers and innovative service providers. AGRITECHNICA attracts over 450,00 visitors from over 115 countries, making it the largest show of its type in the world.
