MICRO-CESAR SHORT LISTED FOR AN INNOVATION AWARD AT LAMMA
With one week to go before the opening of LAMMA 2017, Datatag is delighted to learn that their newly launched product, Micro-CESAR, has been short listed for an innovation award
LAMMA, which takes place in Peterborough at the East of England showground, welcomes back Datatag and many other leading brands to the annual agricultural event, which will take place on the 18th & 19th January.
The Micro-CESAR Security system uses an array of Datatag security marking technologies as does the established CESAR Scheme. Like CESAR, Micro-CESAR includes a unique RFID tag and a tamper evident warning/registration label with an integrated QR code.
The official CESAR marking and registration scheme has made a huge impact in the fight against equipment theft contributing to a 70% reduction since it was launched in 2007. All leading insurers support the scheme and offer up to 25% discounts for all marked equipment.
Like the official CESAR Scheme industry experts have predicted Micro-CESAR will be set to make the same impact in the fight against crime protecting small agricultural and horticultural tools and landscaping equipment such as chain-saws, strimmer's, cut-off saws and the like.
As an added bonus the technology used in the Micro-CESAR system can also be used as a stock management tool, helping companies track tools in and out of jobs and allowing users to easily access on-line health and safety advice and user manuals through the unique QR code and mobile enabled Micro-CESAR website.
Datatag MD Kevin Howells had this to say on the announcement ''I'm delighted that industry experts are recognising Micro-CESAR to be the next game changer in the fight against crime. We're already working with leading equipment manufacturers developing the final touches to the mobile enabled software and we'll be able to announce the first adopters of the scheme in the coming months."
The LAMMA 2017 award winners will be announced on the first day of the LAMMA Show during an awards presentation in the Cambridgeshire Suite.
Datatag experts will be on hand during the two day show in hall 7, stand 7111.
